サイトの構築、001回目いきます。
Vログで「1000記事チャレンジ」の話をしましたが、今日はその裏側、進捗マップの作り方を種明かしします。
最初は、テーマごとに専用ページを作ろうとしてたんです。30テーマあるから、30ページ。
でもこれ、作り手の私も大変だし、読み手も迷子になるし、クローラーにも優しくない。イロイロ問題あり、でした🤣
もっと言うと、最初は990〜1000本、全部を固定ページで作ろうとしてたんです。
これ、想像しただけで脳ミソ焼き切れる作業です🤣 1000ページを手で作って、1つ1つURLも管理して……絶対に続きません。
そこに気づいて、方針を変えました。固定ページじゃなくて、ブログ投稿として書く。カテゴリーとスラッグを棚ごとに再定義して、990〜1000本はぜんぶ「投稿」に任せる形にしたんです。
これで、URLの管理もカテゴリー分けも、WordPress側の仕組みに乗っかるだけで済むようになりました。ここが一番の突破口でした。
そのうえで、読者から見た入り口も、1ページ導線に整理しました。30テーマ×33回＝990枠を、1枚の進捗マップにまとめて表示する方式です。
棚をタップして開くと、その中の33マス（一部だけ43マス）が見える。埋まってる場所は金色、空欄はグレー。
作り手も読み手もクローラーも、これ1枚見れば全体がわかる。導線をシンプルにするのが目的でした。
ちなみにVログ棚だけ33じゃなくて43マスあります。理由は単純で、他29棚×33＋Vログ43＝ちょうど1000になるように調整したからです🤣
細かい数字合わせも、結局は「戦わない・押しつけない・選ばせる」の一環。読者に迷わせない設計が一番大事だと思ってます。
これも５年落ちのアンドロイド、両手親指、寝そべりながら打ってます。サイト構築の話も、結局６割ライフスタイルで書いてます🤣

I talked about the 1,000-article challenge on VLOG, so today let me show you the behind-the-scenes: how I actually built the progress map.
At first, I tried building a dedicated page for every theme. 30 themes, 30 pages.
That turned out to be a pain for me to maintain, confusing for readers, and unfriendly to crawlers. Various problems, basically 🤣
Here’s the bigger one: at first, I was going to build all 990 to 1,000 entries as fixed Pages.
Just imagining that fries my brain 🤣 Hand-building a thousand pages, managing every single URL myself — there’s no way that lasts.
That’s when it clicked, and I changed direction. Not fixed Pages — blog Posts instead. Redefine the category and slug for each shelf, and let all 990 to 1,000 entries live as ordinary Posts.
That way, URL management and categorization both just ride on WordPress’s own system. This was the real breakthrough.
On top of that, I also organized the reader-facing entry point into a single-page layout. All 990 slots — 30 themes times 33 entries — live on one progress map.
Tap a shelf open and you see its slots — 33 of them, except one shelf with 43. Gold means filled, gray means still empty.
Creators, readers, and crawlers can all understand the whole picture from one screen. Simplifying the navigation was the whole point.
By the way, the VLOG shelf alone has 43 slots instead of 33. The reason’s simple: 29 shelves times 33, plus VLOG’s 43, lands exactly on 1,000 🤣
Even number-crunching like that is part of “don’t fight, don’t push, let people choose.” Keeping readers from getting lost matters most.
Still typing this lying down, two thumbs, 5-year-old Android. Even site architecture gets the 60% lifestyle treatment 🤣
